Baby G was a lil more active today luckily. He was still in the same position, but gave us a better range of facial expressions. He made us laugh w/ the faces he made. He's so darn cute. He actually stuck his toe in his eye & it was so funny! He smiled, he frowned, he opened his eyes, he opened his mouth a lot, and best of all, he responded to my voice a lot which just melted my heart! I think he has J's mouth & possibly my nose (poor thing lol)!

When we went last Thurs March 5th, his HR was 145 & he weighed 4 lbs & 6 oz. She didn't do the HR or weight today. I love this lil guy so so much & I know that once I see him in person these feeling I have will be multiplied by 10000000000000000000000000! LOL! I can't wait to feel that "Mommy Love". Well, without further ado (did I say that right?), here are lots of pics of my sweet baby G! The 3rd one cracks me up! Baby Waves & 32 weeks

Daylight's Savings Time started so we lost an hour of sleep. But I lost lots of sleep last night anyway. Didn't go to sleep til 4:30 am, then J got home from the arena game he went to watch in Florence, SC @ 5:30 am.

I've had a pretty busy past few days. Thurs we had our 4D US app @ Baby Waves. It was fun & we got some good pics but lil G just wasn't being too cooperative. The woman had me laying all funky & I was quite uncomfy but was willing to stay in any position to see my lil man. We got to see his beautiful lil face! He has J's lips & mouth & my nose (from what we could tell). He has hair too! Which I suppose explains the heartburn (if you go by the old wive's tale). I found out that he isn't positioned head down also which surprised me b/c I thought it was his lil feet I was feeling kicking me in my right ribs, but nope, it's his lil fists jabbing me! His head (which I thought was his lil butt) is under my right ribs & that's where I feel him punch me. He's facing my left & his lil feet still kick me on my left side. He likes to sit the same way he did when we saw him @ our 4D gender US @ 16 weeks w/ his arms holding his legs in a tucked position. You can look back at my pics from that week & see. I think it's so cute b/c I asked the lady if lots of babies sit like that & she was like "Nope, just st your lil guy likes to do." So I'm anxious to see if he'll do that outside the womb as well. So he's breeched as of now which is normal I suppose & he should flip around soon to get into position. I certainly hope he does or I'll have a guarenteed C-section which I don't want!

Seeing my precious boy's face was just amazing. It was so clearly defined & it's just weird putting an actual face to this person inside me now. And I look down at my growing belly & know that there's only this thin layer (of skin & uterus) that sepeartes me from him. Weird! It's so surreal. I teared up @ the US, but we all just had the best time. We went to eat @ Jonny Carinos for lunch after then us 3 gals went shopping. We went to That's Our Baby 1st so I could order his monogrammed toy bag & changing pad cover. They were a bit pricey but they'll be cute. They should be in sometime this week. GM also bought G an adorable giraffe stuffed animal there that I just love & am going to try & make it be G's special lil toy that he carries around everywhere. I'm going to force it on him lol. We then went to Babies R Us where I got more hangers & mom got a hamper & rug & some stuffed animals to match her nursery. We got G a coming home outfit & matching blanket from Carter's which is so adorable. It's newborn size so I'm hoping it fits but I'm going to pack a 0-3 month outfit as well. We got our bedding ensemble that I've been eyeballing for a while now from BB&B & got some great decorative pillows to match at Marshall's. Now I just need a new table lamp for my nightstand & some curtains. I got a great cute lil spring dress for my baby shower as well. I love it & just hope it still fits right for the actual shower in 3 weeks lol. I got some other random things & we also got some ice cream @ marble slab...yum...before we called it a day. It was a great day but I was def pooped!

And, I saved the best for last to tell you ab that day...we get to go back to Baby Waves for free this Tue @ 4! Since G wasn't being as cooperative as he coulda been (even tho I ate a sausage biscuit w/ jelly & drank OJ right before) the lady told us to come back! It surprised me actually b/c we still got some good pics (which I will wait to post all together w/ the others we'll get on Tue) and got to see him well. But I'm so excited we get to go back, and I've decided the best thing for me to do to get him to hopefully cooperate is to go to the app hungry. G gets fistey (sp?) when I'm/he's hungry lol. Of course I'll eat right after, but since he just doesn't really respond to any specific foods I eat and he gets pretty active when we're hungry, hopefully he'll move around & give us some good shots. I feel like I sound like a bad mom making my lil man go hungry lol.

Yesterday, while J was gone all day, mom & I went to WM grocery shopping & spent the day together. We hung up stuff in G's nursery & I washed his clothes & blankets w/ All Free & Clear. I got his bag packed some & some more stuff put in my bag. We watched TV last night & made hot dogs, mac-n-cheese & then some choc covered strawberries for dessert! Delicious! But I ate way too much!

I think I'm down a half a lb or a whole lb (can't remember what my weight gain was last), but as of this morn I've gained 24.5 lbs. I've been in major "nesting" mode all w/e & I'm so tired but my mind just keeps racing w/ all this stuff I need to do. Hopefully I'll crash here soon & get some sleep tonight! I will prob post again Tue night or Wed to show off G's new pics, but for now here's our 32 week belly shots. Have a great week everyone!

31 weeks

Ok, my internet is up & running again finally after being w/o for almost 3 days! I felt so lost! Anywho...went to the doc last Thur. Just saw the PA, but I love her just the same as my doc really. G's HR was fluctuating b/w the 130's & 140's cause he was moving. He has switched postions on me as well. This happened one day last week. His feet are no longer mostly on my left side, they are (or at least one of em is) right under my ribs on my right side. Not very comfortable. But I press on his lil foot all the time. Sometimes he kicks back & sometimes he just let's me do it. I was told to start doing kick counts. Should feel 10 in an 8 hr time frame (which seemed quite low to me) and if I'm suspicious he hasn't been moving I should drink like a coke or OJ and should get at least 4 in an hour. Kaye (the PA) also informed us that is I went into labor @ 35-36 weeks that Dr. Tidwell wouldn't neccessarily stop it! Wow! I couldn't believe that. I'm sitting there on the table thinking I have another 9&1/2 weeks left, when in reality that might not be the case...he could be just like 4 to 5 weeks away from making his debut into the world! Her telling me that made this feel so REAL! I'm not nervous. I'm excited & ready...but that really made it sink in that wow, this is really just right around the corner. I mean odds are I'll go full term or more close to it w/ my 1st baby, but I guess you never know. This isn't st I can plan & have the date set for on my calender like I do everything else. But, I got to thinking & if G does decide to come that early (35 or 36 weeks), even though Dr. T wouldn't need to stop my labor, I would ask her to so he could cook a lil longer. I would feel better having him in my belly at least a week or 2 longer ya know? But obviously if my water breaks that early then that's a different story.

Well, the belly's getting mighty big & I'm getting mighty uncomfy lol. Weight gain is up to 25. Kaye said she predicts I may just gain another 10 & that I'm right on track. I can deal w/ another 10...but too much over that will bother me a bit. It's so hard to get comfy in bed. i flip from side to side all night long. Sat night I could not fall asleep to save my life. So I grabbed Puddy & we came into the den & watched Spanglish on TV til 4 am. Strange movie, but it was interesting. I woke up at 9 Sun morn to see snow falling which was cool. I didn't expect it would stick tho. I ate me a bowl of cereal & went right back to sleep til noon lol! I was sure surprised when I woke back up too! Snow everywhere! It stuck & it was beautiful. The yard & house & neighborhood...everything!...was covered. It was really coming down, and did all day long. It was fun to watch but I did not wanna be out in it at all. We didn't play in it. I just wasn't in the mood to put on all the clothes & get out in it. I did go out & take some pics of the house tho, which I'll post.

Last Tue, an awesome girl named Heather let me come shopping at her house! Lol, for baby clothes. Her adorable son is ab to be 2 & she's preggo now w/ a lil girl. I went to her house expecting for her to have just a few clothes for me to look at & see if I wanted, but I was overwhelmed to have 3 full size trash bags full of clothes from birth to a year old! Wow, it was awesome & of course I pretty much took all of it graciously! I mean, a whole lot of the outfits looked brand new & never even worn! I am so so very thankful to her for giving me these clothes for G. It just took a load of stress ab spending tons of money off our backs & we are so appreciative (I can't say it enough!). We have so much now & it's so fun to see them all hanging in his closets. I know I need to put more stuff in drawers, but I went to BRU & bought 7 packs of 10 hangers lol, and woulda gotten a few more if my hands weren't full. I still need more too...a lot more...that's how many clothes she gave me! How awesome is that? I mean Baby G pretty much has a whole wardrobe til he's a year old! I'm so so happy. Hanging up all his new (to us!) clothes got me in the nesting mood too and I've been cleaning up his nursery, putting things away & getting things in order. I'll take some more pics soon once we get the nursery a lil more decorated & I'll take pics of his almost full closets to show you all the clothes he has! :-)I ordered his wooden wall letters to spell out his name on ebay yesterday so they should be here soon. They're so cute & can't wait to show them to you...wont be able to show the full name til he's here tho ;-) wink wink! Last night I turned his lamp on & sat in the recliner w/ the light off in the nursery & just soaked up the atmosphere. I love his nursery. I love being in there. I was imagining holding him in my arms & rocking him to sleep. OMG I CANNOT WAIT!!! :-D

We go to Baby Waves this Thur for our last 4D US which I am extremely looking forward to! We will get to see what my lil man looks like! Cheeks, nose, eyes and maybe even hair!!! The whole fam, minus Jake cause he's on the road :-( are coming. Me, J, Mom, Dad & GM. It will be so special & fun. Our app is at 11 then we'll all go out for lunch. Then I suppose the boys will head back to work, but us girls are gonna do some shopping! Have some stuff I wanna get for G @ That's Our Baby like a monogrammed changing pad cover and toy bag to hang on his crib. It should be a great day & it's supposed to be warmed up by them. I have Fri off too & tons of errands to run. We watched the movie Changling last night which I have to say was awesome! It was very difficult to watch b/c it was just so real & honest, but it was so so good. J & I both loved it. Well, J's at practice so it's just me & the boys hangin out. Time for my shows & I'm ab to make me some waffles & eat some frozen grapes (yum). Here are my 31 wk pics from last night & some snow pics! Have a great week everyone!

Quick Note

Hi all! Hate to disappoint, but I won't be updating today. Just wanted to put this quick note on here to let you know why. I'm at Mom & Dad's now using their internet quickly b/c our's is out from the bad storm yesterday. Hopefully someone will be coming out to our house tom to fix our modem or get us a new one. We'll still take pics tonight though & I'll post them w/ the weekly update tom (hopefully!)

Only 10 more weeks left to "cook"

So, here we are at 30 wks & I can't believe my lil man only has 10 (or so) more wks left to bake! I'm up to 23 lbs & have a dr's app this Thur. We go for ou next 4D US @ Baby Waves next Thur & I am SO excited! I've been feeling good this past week...just tired! Tired tired tired lol! Work is getting harder by the day. Bending & squatting & running for things & moving things & lifting things is just tough! Got me some Girl Scout cookies! Mmmmm Samoas! There's really not much to update on....I'm trying to think as I'm sitting here writing this.

Cramer's ear is getting better & healing slowly but surely. He's been such a sweet boy. J had his 1st Annual GA/AL High School Indoor Classic game yesterday & it turned out great. It was a big success & will only get bigger & better evert year. I'm very proud of him for all the work he put into planning it. He's been a busy busy boy! He started training camp as well so now I have to get back used to not having my hubby home at night. I totally understand but it does make me sad & lonely, esp being preggo. But I'm very proud of him & the team he's putting together & I'm so excited for his season to start. 1st home game is on March 22nd! I gotta find st cute to wear...I'm gonna be quite huge by then lol!

My Baby Shower is set for Sat. March 28th & I'm really excited ab it! I'll be 35 wks then & I kinda wonder if we chose too late a date for it, but I think we'll be fine. I have great friends putting it all together for me & I'm so very thankful!

Everyone at work has been trying to guess baby G's name lol. It's so funny. All I can do is smile & try & keep the same expression for every name they guess as not to give it away! I wanna tell so bad, but it's funn keeping it a secret. Plus, I know there will be ppl who have negative opinions on the name we chose & I just don't wanna hear em! We LOVE our baby boy's name & we've had it picked out just for him since before we even got pregnant. I can't imagine him being named any other name. Well, hmmm, I guess that's it for now. 29 weeks!

So, not too much to update on this week. We painted our bedroom yesterday & rearranged the furniture. My mom was such a big help b/c the fumes REALLY got to me & I wasn't too much help. We chose to go w/ the same color we did the den & hallway in b/c we really liked it & had a whole gallon leftover so it saved us some money. Plus the bedding we will be getting will look good w/ it. I like neutral colors. I'll wait til we get our new bedding ensemble to take pics & post. Cramer had surgery on Thur to fix the gash in his ear that wouldn't stop bleeding. He did just fine but even w/ it stitched up, it keeps bleeding b/c he shakes his head w/ such forse when he gets outta his cage & stuff so we're having problems dealing w/ it. My weight gain is up to 21 lbs & it's kinda bothering me cause I could very easily gain 20 or certainly even more lbs by the end of this & that kinda freaks me out. Lol, I may quit updating on my weight gain here soon haha! I told you ab the lil game G & I play when I'm laying in bed at night & it just cracks me up b/c he's so funny...the other night he was kicking me like crazy and so I finally put my hand down there on my right side & "played" back w/ him for a minute & then he stopped & went to sleep. It's like he was saying "C'mon Mommy, play w/ me!" & once I did for a min he was done & ready for bed. I really feel like he & I are bonding when I feel his feet & I press back & he kicks back & so forth. It's neat to watch too. Mom got a good look on Sat & she felt him kick harder than she has before. Well, that's pretty much all I can think of to update on. Here's tonight 29 wk pics fresh outta the shower. It's 2009???

Um, so yeah, apparently I missed the memo that it's well into 2009 right now seeing as how I insist on still putting 2008 on my belly pic signs lol. So the one taken last night says Feb 8th 2008. My bad! Just proves that the blood really is shunted from your brain to you uterus when you're preggo! Anywho, just got home from the doc & all went well. Drank my lil orange glucola drink which was kinda like SunKist, just way grosser (is that a word? lol). I had to hold my nose to get it down it was so ick. But this is coming from a girl who practically refuses to take any liquid meds...pill form please! Well I had to wait an hour for my bloodwork to be drawn & in that time the drink was making me feel not so great. I got hot & nauseous & kinda dizzy sitting in the waiting room. I asked if I could have a sip of water & apparently that is illegal, so the answer was no lol. Well, they finally got my blood drawn & I finally got me some water & felt better almost immediately. Then I went to see Dr. Tidwell & G's HR was 148 & he kicked while she had the doppler on my belly so I heard it which was cool. My BP was fine 110/70. She said they'd only call me if my blood sugar was high so hopefully I wont be getting a phone call. I asked a few questions & that was it. She told me that my dizzy episodes were prob normal but to call if they

got worse or kept up real bad.

Well, I'm going to enjoy the rest of my day off & chill here w/ Puddy. Here's a couple pics from today. Have a good one!

3rd Trimester already!

Hi all! Well, let me 1st apologize for missing my post last Sun. I got rather sick after the Super Bowl last Sun night. I came home from our lil shin-dig @ Mom & Dad's (where else?) after halftime b/c I had to be up @ 5 for work & took a shower. Then I had one of my dizzy/orthostatic hypotensive spells when I got out. I've had a few of em & they are scary & I feel like I'm gonna pass out & then when I get over it I just feel like crap basically. Had to call outta work the next morn & everything. Then the rest of the week I was just so tired from working.

Well let's see, I'm up to 19 lbs now...ahhhh! I guess that's pretty normal. I'm def feeling the weight gain too. It is quite difficult for me to get up from my chaise lounge and certainly from the floor. I've been feeling pretty good this week besides just feeling tired. I had a hard night last night though. Pregnancy insomnia is kicking in & I DO NOT like it. I could not get comfy to save my life last night. My belly felt so full even though I hadn't eaten like a huge meal or anything. And I just felt this pressure on my diaphragm that was making it hard to breathe. No position helped, even propping myself up. I finally fell asleep around 2 am then was back up wide awake @ 4:30 am on my laptop & eating poptarts in bed (lol) then went back to sleep around 8ish. Then got up this morn @ 10 am. I have felt completely fine today though & I'm not even too sleepy tonight and it's 10 pm.

I'm off work tom & have a doctor's app. I have to do the whole glucola drink thingy to test for gestational diabetes. The drink they gave me is orange flavored & I;m hoping it wont be too gross. I have to be there w/i an hour of drinking it for them to take the blood work.

My lil homeboy is certainly growing & getting bigger! It's obvious from my ordeal last night w/ being short of breath b/c he is hogging up my whole belly now...he only has room to grow outward now which means I'm expecting a noticable change in my belly size here soon. His kicks are much harder now-a-days. I still love to feel him, don't get me wrong, but it can get a bit uncomfortable at times. He's very active when I get in bed most nights. We have a lil game we play together some nights too...J will be asleep & the lights are out & I don't wanna wake him so I'll just use the light from my cell to see...but I'll lay on my right side & G will be justa kicking and I'll push back w/ my hand in the spot where he kicks and I can actually feel his lil precious feet move across my side. It's so cool. But we'll do that for quite a few mins & it's fun & I just lie there & smile. He's gotten in this weird habbit of kicking me (HARD!) in the same exact spot a lot of the time when I go to sit down to pee (sorry TMI lol). I'm like "Dude, chill out!" Speaking of peeing...good grief I now realize the truth in what ppl tell you ab having to pee every 10 mins literally! I can feel G karate chopping my bladder sometimes & oh goodness, when he's sitting on it...I look like I'm ab to give birth running to the bathroom...and of course hardly any pee even comes out! I'm very excited b/c my baby shower plans are in the works by my great friends. It's prob gonna be the end of March.

Me & J have been doing a lil home improving last w/e and this w/e. Last w/e we FINALLY painted our den & hallway! Mom helped which saved time. It looks so good. We chose a tan/beige color. You can actually see our crown molding now! Before the paint was the cheap white chalky contractor paint they slap on when they remodel houses. It was all stained up & jusy ick (compliments of Cramer). I was so happy to get nice paint on these walls. It looks so so good! And I like being in here more now. We're painting out bedroom next w/e. We did a lil shopping too & got some new furniture & accessories. We got a kitchen table & chairs for our kitchen nook (finally), 2 ladder bookcases (to replace our old ugly hand-me-down ones), an entertainment cabinet (which J loves cuz he finally hooked up our surround sound), a cool big wall clock, some funky new pillows, and some other accesories. We rearranged the den too so now it looks like a nice decorated space instead of just a buncha stuff we had thrown together in a room to make the room useable. We love it. I still have a list of things we need to purchase but just can't do it all at once. I'll post some pics so you can see what I'm talking ab, but there's this great big wrought iron wall hanging that I wanna hang above the ent. cabinet. It holds 4 pics and 3 candles (I think) & it's so perty! I wanna put some framed wedding pics in certain spots on the walls. Then we also need 2 black end tables. So it's not quite complete but it still looks great. I just can't wait to do our bedroom and get the bedding ensemble I've had my eye on @ BB&B for a while now & get some nice stuff hung on the walls in there. All our furniture is mismatched and old, but paint & new bedding will make a huge difference.

Our new kitchen table wont be here for a week prob so I'll get a pic of that when we get it. But for now, here are our 27 week & 1 day pics (since I was sick last Sun, we took em on Mon & I looked hideous b/c I still didn't feel too great), our 28 weeks pics & pics of the den & hallway. And I think I'm gonna make the pics a lil smaller this time since there's so many to post. I had a great dinner out w/ my HS friends tonight & now I'm just chillen & our new den watching TV.
